INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER
Manage and direct inventory planning and control activities
for a frozen product distribution wholesaler. Develop systems
to monitor vital inventory statistics including inventory
turnover / rotation and anticipated promotional / seasonal
demand. Monitor product inventories and maintain adequate
levels. Place purchase orders, manage inbound product flow
and coordinate with warehouse personnel. Ideal candidate will
be an independent thinker, at ease in a demanding environment
and confident to take action and make changes. Must enjoy
leading by example and continually improving the inventory
control process. The ability to comfortably function as part
of a team is critical to your success.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with at least 3-5
years of relevant wholesaler background (including purchasing
from manufacturers), effective communication skills with above
average organization and interpersonal skills. Computer literate
in a PC / AS 400 environment and previous warehouse management
experience a plus.
